One of the best things for us is when clients seek us out because of our shared value of sustainability. That’s what got tentree knocking on our shop door. We were approached by them to help share their brand’s story by building the blocks pictured in this post. We, of course, said yes and started up the table saw right away.

tentree are tree planters who happen to also be a sustainably conscious apparel company that sells ultra-comfortable clothing made from eco-friendly materials. They run their business by adhering to sustainable practices in the manufacturing and marketing of their product. On top of that, they have a goal to plant 1 billion trees by 2030. How are they going to do it? For every tentree product they sell, they plant ten trees. These trees replenish deforested areas across the globe. Their work not only benefits the global environment but it also benefits the communities where they work by providing jobs and sustainable resources such as food, building materials, and fuel to the locals. They are truly a remarkable brand who stands behind their mission.

Each of the 800 solid wood blocks were resawn from large reclaimed fir timbers. Once cut down and shaped, they were hand sanded to give them that naturally smooth finish. For a finishing touch, tentree’s logo and reclaim label were engraved with a precise laser. You’ll be able to see the blocks on promotional display at retailers who carry tentree, so be sure to keep your eyes open for them while you’re out shopping the racks.
