Best Restaurant Atmosphere

This March the Georgia Straight announced Golden Plates 2017 winners. FYI, Golden Plates is the go-to guide for finding the best spots to eat, drink and shop in Vancouver, BC, Canada, as selected by Vancouverites. We were more than excited to find our client -- Belgard Kitchen among the winners. The place owned the Best Restaurant Atmosphere award. Wow, guys… Congrats! You deserve it! And, of course, it’s an honor for Union Wood Co. to be a part of your success. Belgard Kitchen is one of our favorite large scale commercial projects.

The Place You Should Go To

Belgard Kitchen is located in Railtown, which is the oldest residential neighborhood in Vancouver, British Columbia. The district will amaze you with its heritage houses. Definitely a great place to walk or bike around if you want to jump back into the history of Vancouver. The late 19th and early 20th-century architecture are unbelievable. Though there has been a lot of revitalization in the area, walking through the alleys seem like a time warp.

Quite a Little Community

Belgard Kitchen shares the same roof with Postmark Brewery and Vancouver Urban Winery. This collaboration also known as The Settlement Building is a popular after-work spot. Local wine on tap, craft beer, and shareable plates attract so many people of different interests and lifestyle. Reuben Major, the chef of Belgard Kitchen, calls it “quite a little community”.
