If you saw our Union Wood Co’s Best of the Best From 2017 post, you would have gotten a sneak peek at a beautiful project we were fortunate enough to be involved with called TurF. TurF is a one-stop community center that offers everything you need to live your fullest life. Located in the heart of Vancouver's beloved Kitsilano, you can stop into TurF to fill your belly with yummy, locally sourced food or break a sweat in one of their diverse fitness classes.  

The space was designed by one of our favourite design firms in the city, Sophie Burke Design. Sophie’s projects have a few key features in common that we gravitate towards. They are thoughtfully simple, feel airy, and calm our nerves with their natural colour pallets. All of these effortless qualities can be found in every inch of TurF! The designers wanted to design the space with Kits Beach in mind by bringing in that cool ocean breeze and carefree summer feels! (Is it July yet!?)

When you go into TurF to take advantage of all the great services they have to offer, make sure to check out all the furniture, shelving, and select millwork we made! We love the communal tables, not only because they turned out gorgeous, but also because they pair perfectly with the sense of community Turf is cultivating.
